If you have a digital file, choose the paper or canvas and start the order. Upload the file—or use Enter File Name if we already have it—then set the size and print options. If you have original artwork or want help before ordering, call us.

01 · START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

WHAT DO YOU HAVE?

Choose the one that matches what you have. A digital file can go straight into an online order. Physical artwork starts with artwork capture.

01 · ORIGINAL ARTWORK

HAVE ORIGINAL ARTWORK? START WITH CAPTURE.

If the artwork is physical, start by creating a high-resolution reproduction file for printing.

THE FIRST STEP IS CAPTURE. A good capture creates the reproduction file you can use for this print, editions, and future reorders.

PROFESSIONAL ARTWORK CAPTURE

We photograph the original with controlled lighting and high-resolution equipment, paying attention to color, detail, tonal range, and surface character.

The capture setup is adjusted to the artwork and its surface.

02 · DIGITAL FILE

CHOOSE A SURFACE. THEN CHOOSE HOW TO ADD THE ARTWORK.

On the product page, use Upload Artwork when you want to upload a file. The crop window opens immediately, with the crop and print options together. Use Enter File Name when the artwork is already on file with us; those options stay right on the product page.

START WITH THE BEST FILE YOU HAVE. If you upload a file, use the best version you have. If we see a production issue that needs your attention, we’ll contact you before printing.

IF YOU UPLOAD A FILE

We review the file for resolution, dimensions, color information, and how well it will print at the size you ordered.

TIFF PREFERRED Preferred when maximum image quality and production flexibility are important.
JPEG ACCEPTED High-quality JPEG files are suitable for many projects.
RGB COLOR Use RGB with an embedded profile such as Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB.
300–355 PPI A useful target for many fine art applications at the intended print size.

HOW THE PRINT ORDER WORKS.

Once you choose a paper or canvas, the rest follows the same basic order: add the artwork, set up the print, proof when it is useful, then place the order.

CHOOSE THE SURFACE

Choose the paper or canvas you want to print on. If you are not sure, use the Surface Finder, compare free samples, or ask us.

  • Browse all papers and canvas when you already know what you want
  • Use the Surface Finder when you want a recommendation
  • Order free samples when you want to see and feel the materials
  • Open the paper or canvas product you want to use and start the order

CHOOSE HOW TO ADD THE ARTWORK

The product page gives you two ways to continue. Upload Artwork uploads the file. Enter File Name lets you order by file name without uploading. Both choices stay available so you can switch before you finish the order.

UPLOAD ARTWORKUpload the file from the product page. After the file uploads, the crop and review window opens.
ENTER FILE NAMEStay on the product page, enter the artwork name, and continue with the size and print options.

SET THE SIZE AND PRINT OPTIONS

If you uploaded artwork, use the crop and review window to position the image, confirm the crop, set the finished size, and complete the available print options. Save Print Setup, then the product page shows the Ready to Add to Cart area with quantity and Add to Cart.

If you used Enter File Name, you stay on the product page and set the finished size and available print options there. The price updates from the choices you make.

PROOF BEFORE THE FINAL RUN

A physical proof lets you see your actual artwork on the actual paper or canvas before you commit to the final run. For working artists and creative professionals, it is especially useful for editions, exhibitions, client work, new artwork, new surfaces, larger runs, and color-sensitive work.

For an uploaded file, Save Print Setup returns you to the product page and the Ready to Add to Cart area. With Enter File Name, quantity and Add to Cart are available on the product page after the required options are complete.
